The Säntis Lodge in Unterwasser offers 29 rooms, including four apartments (with a small kitchen), two family rooms and a 3 ½-room vacation apartment on the third floor.

The Säntis Lodge is 300 meters from the village center of Unterwasser. There is a branch of the Coop retail store within walking distance. In the village center there is a post office with a post bus stop as well as other stores (commercial) and restaurants/cafés.

The valley station of the Toggenburg Bergbahnen (ski area with 14 lifts and the Chäserrugg viewpoint) is 200 meters away. The ski slope leads directly past the Säntis Lodge. Sledging, winter hiking and snowshoeing are also possible in the ski area. There is a sports store at the Iltios middle station. The cross-country ski trail (Unterwasser - Alt St. Johann) is 250 meters from the Säntis Lodge. The Unterwasser tennis hall with three tennis courts and the possibility to play badminton is 100 meters from the Säntis Lodge. A boulder box is integrated into the tennis hall.

The valley station of the Toggenburg mountain railroads (hiking area with funicular to Iltios and cable car to the Chäserrugg viewpoint) is 200 meters away. Hiking trails lead directly past the Säntis Lodge and take hikers to the Churfirsten area or to the Thur waterfalls (1 kilometer away) and further into the Alpstein (e.g. to the Säntis). The outdoor pool is located 150 meters from the Säntis Lodge and offers a 25m swimming pool, a non-swimmer pool, children's paddling pool, a 3m diving tower and a wide wave slide. The Unterwasser tennis hall with three tennis courts and the opportunity to play badminton is located 100 meters from the Säntis Lodge. A boulder box is integrated into the indoor tennis hall. The tennis hall also has three outdoor tennis courts and a barrier-free playground.

The Säntis Lodge offers various facilities in the public area, such as the entertainment area with cinema, billiards, table tennis etc., the adult lounge or the children's play corner (with "ball pool"). These facilities are available to guests of the Säntis Lodge free of charge.

Breakfast is included in the room rate (unless otherwise booked) for guests of the Säntis Lodge. Information about our restaurant Säntis Lodge can be found here.

The Säntis Lodge is easily accessible by car from the main road and is clearly visible. There are plenty of parking spaces in front of the building, which guests can use free of charge. If arriving by public transport, we recommend getting off at the "Post" bus stop in Unterwasser. The Säntis Lodge is 250 meters away from the bus stop.

The variety of rooms at the Säntis Lodge covers almost all the wishes and needs of families staying overnight. The public areas of the Säntis Lodge are accessible to all mountain & bed guests and offer a wide variety of activities for families with small children (children's play corner) as well as older children and teenagers (entertainment area and cinema). In the garden of the Säntis Lodge there is a playground and a small stream where the whole family can relax. As there are many different activities in the immediate vicinity of the Säntis Lodge, a wide range of day programs can be enjoyed without great effort or within walking distance.

The variety of rooms at the Säntis Lodge covers almost all the wishes and needs of this guest segment. The public areas of the Säntis Lodge are accessible to all mountain & bed guests and offer a wide variety of activities for individual guests with the active entertainment area, the in-house cinema or the cozy lounge. In addition, the garden of the Säntis Lodge with its various seating areas offers the opportunity to soak up the sun. As there are many different activities in the immediate vicinity of the Säntis Lodge, a wide range of daily programs can be enjoyed without great effort or within walking distance.

All offers (including a visit to the cinema) in the Säntis Lodge are free of charge for guests of the Säntis Lodge. The restaurant in the Säntis Lodge, which is run by Schwendi Catering GmbH, offers high-quality, wholesome meals at reasonable prices. At certain times of the year, accommodation prices are reduced accordingly and from time to time mountain & bed packages or special offers are put together for guests. This information is published on the website or in the newsletter.

Check-in is possible from 14.00 hrs. If you arrive after 18.00, please contact us so that we can organize the key handover with you. Check-out is possible until 11.00 am.

Yes, you are welcome to bring your four-legged friend with you on request and by prior arrangement. We charge a surcharge of CHF 15.00 per night/pet.

Yes, a free parking lot is available to our guests directly in front of the Säntis Lodge. Electric vehicles can be charged at the nearby post office in Unterwasser (5 minutes' walk).
